A: Not all the antibodies are neutralizing. Non-neutralizing antibodies, or binding antibodies, are able to bind to viral antigens but do not block viral infection. Neutralizing antibodies (NAbs) are antibodies that not only bind to viral antigens, but also block viral infection.
